artificial

The first thing to do in order to understand the meaning of the artificial term is to discover its etymological origin. In this case, we have to emphasize that it is a word that derives from Latin, specifically, from "artificialis", which is the result of the sum of three clearly delimited components:
-The noun “ars, artis”, which can be translated as “art”.
-The verb “facere”, which is synonymous with “do”.
-The suffix “-alis”, which is indicated to indicate relationship or membership.
It is an adjective that refers to that which is manufactured by man: that is, it does not come from nature. Artificial is also what turns out fake, illusory or simulated.

Many times the artificial works as a replacement of the natural starting from a likeness or an imitation. A artificial lagoon, taking up the first of the previous examples, is created by the human being, which makes an excavation and fills it with water. Instead, a natural lagoon arises spontaneously. The artificial grass, on the other hand, it is a product made with plastic or another material. The artificial ingredients of a cake, on the other hand, they imitate in flavor, color, aroma and texture to others that come from nature.
It is known as artificial intelligence to the system that, created from the contributions of different sciences and disciplines, allows to achieve the resolution of problems through the paradigm of the intelligence of the human being. Artificial intelligence assumes that a machine can "to reason" logically and "interpret" the context where it acts, providing a specific and consistent response.
Precisely on that term we have to highlight the existence of a film entitled "AI Artificial Intelligence". It was released in 2001 and is directed by Steven Spielberg. It is framed within the genre of science fiction and is that it tells how in the future the human being coexists with robots that are called mecas. These, of course, have a great difference with men: they have no feelings.
However, the conflict will occur when one of those robots is programmed to love. At that moment, absolutely unexpected situations will take place.
We cannot forget that the aforementioned artificial intelligence has aroused the interest of many film directors. For this reason, there are numerous films that have revolved around it, in addition to the one already mentioned. Examples are as follows:
- “Her” (2013), directed by Spike Jonze.
-The "Matrix" saga, by the Wachowski brothers.
- “The Bicentennial Man” (1999), by Chris Columbus and starring Robbie Williams.
