What is a plaintiff?<\/h2>\n

In economics, the plaintiff is that company or person that demands a good or service, <\/strong>in order to cover an unmet need.<\/p>\n

In other words, the plaintiff is usually the buyer of a good or service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To solve this need is its counterpart, the offeror, also known as seller<\/strong>, who receives in exchange a consideration<\/strong> provided by the plaintiff.<\/p>\n

Said plaintiff acts in relation to market demand, which is defined as the quantity of goods and services required<\/strong> by a group of people (plaintiffs).<\/p>\n

Characteristics of the plaintiff<\/h2>\n

The main characteristics of the plaintiff are the following:<\/p>\n

  • Refers to consumer or buyer of goods or services<\/strong> within a market.<\/li>\n
  • Your counterpart is the \"offeror\"<\/strong>, that is, the producer or seller.<\/li>\n
  • The plaintiff must reward the bidder in some way,<\/strong> in exchange for the goods and services that it provides.<\/li>\n
  • The plaintiff is influenced by various factors<\/strong>such as price, income, fashion, preferences, and tastes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Plaintiff examples<\/h2>\n

    Within the economy there are numerous types of plaintiffs. Here we present you 3 examples<\/strong> from them:<\/p>\n

    • A person who is going to buy a water bottle<\/strong> to a supermarket, it is a plaintiff who demands a good, in this case that bottle.<\/li>\n
    • The owner of a shoe shop<\/strong> who buys shoes to later resell them in his store, is a demander of his supplier and a bidder of his customers, who in turn are his demanders.<\/li>\n
    • Yes a person is hungry,<\/strong> he goes to the supermarket and buys food, he will be the demander and the supermarket the supplier. In addition, the decision of which bidder to choose will be influenced by various factors, including price.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
