The term argumentation<\/strong>, derived from the Latin word argumentatio<\/em>, refers to act of arguing<\/strong>: apply or express an argument. The idea of argument<\/strong>, meanwhile, refers to the reasoning that is pronounced to convince someone or as evidence.<\/p>\n

\"Argumentation\"Argumentation is understood as the way in which, using the logic<\/strong>, are obtained conclusions<\/strong>. The argumentation is linked to dialogue<\/strong> Yet the persuasion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is possible to relate the argumentation to a negotiation when trying to reach a conclusions<\/strong> acceptable for two or more parties. The argumentation, however, can also aim to impose itself on the other.<\/p>\n

According to argumentation theory<\/strong>These processes begin when there is a conclusion or a thesis on which the person intends to argue. This conclusion is reached through premises: the link between the premises<\/strong> and the conclusion must be evidenced with arguments.<\/p>\n

The political speech<\/strong>, the advertising<\/strong> and the presentation of a lawyer in front of a court<\/strong>, for example, are based on argumentation. The proof requires that the conclusion arise from objective facts and not from opinions.<\/p>\n

Take the case of a President candidate<\/strong> that asks citizens to vote for him, affirming that he is the right individual to solve the problems of the country<\/strong>. In his argumentation, he exposes the achievements of his management as governor of a province. According to their position, it is possible to extrapolate their provincial successes to the national level.<\/p>\n

Now suppose thate the lawyer of a man accused of murder<\/strong> he asks for the acquittal of his client. The lawyer's argument is supported by a series of tests that would demonstrate the innocence of the subject, who would not have been present at the scene of the crime. crime<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
