The idea of Latin America<\/strong> is used to name the group of american countries<\/strong> where they speak Romance languages<\/strong> (that is, derived from vulgar Latin). It is a set of nations of America<\/strong> who have the Castilian<\/strong> (Spanish), to Portuguese<\/strong> or to French<\/strong> as official languages.<\/p>\n

\"LatinThe countries<\/strong> that are part of Latin America may vary according to cultural, historical or geographical determinations. Belize<\/strong>, the Virgin Islands of the United States<\/strong>, French guiana<\/strong> Y Martinique<\/strong>, for example, they may or may not appear in the group of members from Latin America. There are those who also debate the inclusion of Canada<\/strong> where French predominates.<\/p>\n

In any case, there are about twenty countries that are always mentioned as part of Latin America, among which appear Argentina<\/strong>, Brazil<\/strong>, Cuba<\/strong>, Guatemala<\/strong>, Mexico<\/strong>, Peru<\/strong> Y Venezuela<\/strong>. As can be seen, Latin America encompasses nations<\/strong> from South America<\/strong>, Central America<\/strong> Y North America<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The notion of Latin America is often controversial since it does not include those who speak indigenous languages \u200b\u200bsuch as Aymara<\/strong>, Quechua<\/strong> or guarani<\/strong>. In this way, Paraguayans who speak Guaran\u00ed or Peruvians who communicate in Quechua would not be Latin Americans according to the most common meaning associated with idea<\/strong> into Spanish, Portuguese and French.<\/p>\n

In addition to all the above, we can underline that there is another relevant series of data of interest that is worth knowing about Latin America. Specifically, we are referring to the following:
-It is very rich in copper, silver and oil.
-It has a great environmental and animal variety, without forgetting that, in addition, in its territory there are practically all the existing climates.
-In recent years, significant progress has been made at the economic level in different aspects in Latin America. Specifically, there are numerous companies of the same that have begun to have a great presence in the foreign market. This would be the case, for example, of the Skol or Coronita breweries, the telecommunications company Televisa or the Bodega Aurrera, among others.
-Its ten cities with the most population are Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Lima, Bogot\u00e1, Santiago, Guadalajara, Belo Horizonte and Monterrey.
-The majority of the citizens of Latin America are Christians and specifically Catholic Christians.
-No less relevant is that there are numerous characters of great historical, economic or artistic significance who are natives of this place. Among those are from writers such as Jorge Luis Borges and Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez to musicians such as Silvio Rodr\u00edguez through painters of the stature of Frida Kahlo or actors and actresses such as Cantinflas.
-Health and poverty are considered the main problems that are currently \u201cdrowning\u201d Latin America, without forgetting others such as crime or corruption in particular. <\/p>\n

It should be noted that, through Mercosur<\/strong> (Southern Common Market), the Celac<\/strong> (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) and other supranational entities, Latin American countries have come together, giving greater political and economic strength to the region or part of it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
